For my friends who have suffered at the hands of another. You all know who you are. Me too, I’m part of that non-exclusive club.

How beautiful! Yes, we know who we are and we are thankful for a friend like you!
I found it in FB this afternoon. Just brought me to tears.
I thought about getting back on FB but I’m afraid Loser would find me….or my children.
You can block them you know. They don’t have to know you’re on there. Or be able to see anything about you even if they do. I have a personal page and a page called “Living Like Water” which is all this kind of stuff. Just go on, then go to losers page and block him. It will just show as if you’re not there.
Wouldn’t I have to be his “friend” to block him?
no. I blocked S at one time and I’m not his friend. (Hes not blocked now, but he’s not my friend either, lol)
To the right of the message block in his cover photo there’s another button that has dots in it. Click on that and one of the options is “block”
I haven’t been on FB in probably ten years. Could I use my blog as my name on there?
Maybe. Idk. You could make up an alias and the create a public page named the same as your blog.
I might give it a try. I had dreams of making quilts again and posting them on FB. My daughter wants me to join one of those dating sites. I’m not sure I’m ready, though. I’m such a mess but then I think, maybe I could meet somebody who actually treated me like I mattered. All these maybes…..LOL.
You know, I’ve been on dating sites for a long time, (it’s where I met S….UGH) but it’s an opportunity to at least talk to men, message them, anonymously. Kind of an easy way to break back into the world. It wold probably help, the way blogging does. Just to have contact with people, and yeah, you may meet someone who isn’t an asshole. (I still have that hope, lol)
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we both could someday write about finding the true loves of our lives? Sigh.
Oh I intend for that to happen. I really believe it’s all about intention. Imagine the guy right down to what he wears, everything. He’ll show up. It beats thinking about your loser or S who are definitely not what we want. 🙂
Exactly. I read a post about getting trapped into trying to find somebody…who is just like your narc and how common it is. It’s funny because I would be looking for an educated, successful, 6’3″ narcissist…which is NOT what I want.
Beautiful! It is uplifting.. 😊 Thanks for sharing 💜
