My Mistake

This was my mistake. My naïveté.  My lesson. Which was learned well. And is ongoing.  First lesson is from Maya Angelou.

“Never trust someone who says “I love you” but doesn’t love themselves.”

Even if all they say is “I care a lot about you.”

You can see someone’s light shining. Or not.  But if you only see it for 15 minutes out of an hour…. ?  I need to see it, and trust it’s always there. I need to hear pure honest truth, without a spin on it.  I’ll find it too, one of these days. It’s rare. But he’s out there.

  1. Hello friend!!
Because I really like your blog, I have nominated you for “The Versatile blogger award”! You can read all about it in my latest blog post: https://survivednarc.wordpress.com/2016/03/08/the-versatile-blogger-award/

There is no pressure to participate, it’s just fun if you do (on your own time schedule). It simply entails writing a blog post just like mine (but changing your “facts” and “nominations”, of course). Congratulations on being a great blogger! Hugs /SurvivedNarc.

      • No worries, take your time, if you have time. Sometimes it takes days, other times weeks… who cares.. lol 🙂 And if you don’t get time at all, it is no biggie. That is life. Take care, friend.. 🙂 xo
