Irma Is Sucking the Water Out of Tampa Bay

Seriously. The low tide is 5′ below normal as the hurricane sucks the water out of the bay. Local news has video of dead schools of fish that couldn’t keep up with the speed of the water being sucked out into the bay.

I’ve seen a few hurricanes but never seen a storm so powerful it emptied water from the beaches. Crazy.

Other than that, we are fine. No power but we have water.  Had a nice dinner. It’s getting warm with no AC.  But all is well.

Love and light.

  1. there’s something even more worst going on and this time it’s with yellow stone park’s volcano where it could erupt causing the almost end of this planet (Sigh) this is frightening i just hope this doesn’t happen and i hope these natural disasters mother nature is throwing at us cool down all together.

    • I’ve been hearing about this giant volcano for literally decades. It’s a fact, but I don’t think it has to do with climate change but with geology. I’m not sure it’s a preventable event, if it happens. The power and intensity of this storm is, I believe, a direct result of climate change. Just my thoughts.

      • its nothing but a mess almost every time i experience something good in my life it always goes sour and this year my life actually improved and now its going to be snuffed out by a natural disaster i just fucking hope i and many others get and have a future.

  2. So glad you are safe! Beware of yoir environment all the time, I mean your surroundings, they talked on the news about downed power lines in a lot of places all over FL, so you know, dont go near those. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And watch closely the news so as not to go out just when storm surge is in. Bla bla you know all this! Lol.
Stay safe and stay strong. It will be over soon hopefully.

And oh you are definitely right about climate change being the bad guy here, even scientists say that storms will more often become monster storms because of the increased temp. of the oceans. The very warm water is nam nam like Oreos, for these beasts! Too bad so many people dont realize it. !

      • Great to hear you were not too badly hit! I understand it must have been a stressful time though.
Very sad for all those people who were hit hard. I have been to the Keys once and I loved it, it was sad to see they were hit hard. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ˜ต Hope they can rebuild their lives/homes. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒน
