Life’s not been easy,
It’s not been that hard either.
I’m still here, aren’t I?

We all have lessons
To learn, or not, it’s our choice
I hope I’ve learned mine.

Lessons in love, learned
The hardest way, and in life.
Lessons are blessings.

And so, with blessings
abundant, my path reveals
My strength, my lessons.

Love, coming, going
Changing its view on a whim.
I loved loving him.

Now it seems a lark
To have loved, laughed, dreamed, shared, fucked.
Memories, I smile.

So much more in front
Than there is, looking behind.
Love that is constant.

Relief from days of hot sun.

Refresh my spirit.

Morning sun warms me

Lifts my gaze, expands my view

Grateful to know love.

All that transpired, matters not

Love always, all ways.

The world glows softly

With love tapping at the door 

Captured in moments. 

Is there a reason
Why the bird sings, or frog croaks?
To tell their story.

A wet bathing suit

Got me through the steamy day.

Thankful for the hose.
