Haiku No. 83: Reflection (4 parts)

I saw his image
Reflecting in the mirror.
I loved him anyway.

He saw me looking
Back at him, fiercely, fearless.
There was no hiding.

He never understood
I saw his heart, and his fears
I loved him anyway.

Although our time passed,
I still know his heart and fears.
And I love him anyway.

I wrote this because I was reading today how we are all mirrors of each other.  In this case, I knew it was true.  Image from Google images.
