Haiku No. 104: Ebb and Flow (3 parts)

floating

Floating on currents
Rudderless, I cannot point.
I lack direction.

Flood tide brings me in.
The ebb takes me far away
Landfall is a dream.

I cannot remain
In this forlorn little boat.
Better that I swim.
