Haiku No. 117: Scattered

Change-Butterflies

Scattered thoughts confuse
Trying to find solid ground
“Be here now” they teach.

Eyes closed, look for peace
Daylight illuminates dreams
Silence lets me hear.

Changes in the wind
Old life fades, new life comes in
Fear leaves, love remains.

So much change happening in my life, I’ve been having a hard time focusing enough to write coherently.  Sometimes I wonder what the heck I’m doing, at my age, creating a whole new life, again.  But here I go…..One step at a time.  Love and light….
