Haiku No. 238: Moot Point (4 parts)

Looking for answers
I asked too many questions.
Answers changed nothing.

Still wanting answers
I searched every corner
In my quest to know.

What I discovered
Were answers unknowable
The point was still moot.

Moot. Debatable.
Arguments are not my thing.
Some things don’t matter.

  1. Arguments are not my thing either, but ah the occasional times of balance when I’ve explored questions with someone who is emotionally mature, open minded and willing to listen as much as talk, those are fulfilling and often enlightening. I’d like some more of those.

  2. Nice SOC in haiku form Just for your records ‘The point was moot’ -4. And, for a line to scan, it is generally accepted that the word ‘every’ is 2 when used – I searched every corner would be 6 in that case.
