Haiku No. 241: Filling the Cracks (3 parts)

There were days I died
My heart cracked, my breathing slowed
The joy sucked clean out.

I found a village
Full of warm sun, warm people
Soothed my withered soul.

Old aches healed over
Cracks in my heart filled with gold
Where the light came in
