Deb, check your 2nd line, the syllables. 😊 This haiku makes me want a virgin pina colada.
OMG, what is the matter with me lately? Geez! I fixed it, and thank you. As for the pina colada, I could join you! It was 87 here today!
Goodness! It got to be about 64 here today with some decent wind blowing. That’s far too hot for me in February! Haha! You’re most welcome. You’d tell me! 😊
I would…..:) You and Anita, though neither of you would ever lose count, lol.
Are you kidding me? I totally changed the second line up for my haiku this morning after it was published. I’d read it like 10 times and still missed it until it was published. It was like that made me aware that it was off in syllables. Lol!
Same here! I get focused on another part and when that’s right, I forget about counting, lol. Duh.
Haha! 😊 Structure and form is tricky, but that’s why I love it. I think quartrains are challenging, nonets too, and fib poems too.
I don’t even know what nonets and fibs are! LOL. I guess I have some work to do!
Ugh. They’re stressful! I steer clear of them as much as I can. I read a beautiful nonet by Anita the other day. My friend Connie is really good at fib poems too.
Does she have a blog?
She sure does!

Thanks tre! I followed her. She has an interesting mix of her writing and her art. Very nice!
Thank you! Yes, ma’am, she does. Incredibly talented.
