My heart fluttered for a moment
When I thought of him
Smiling,
Laughing,
Talking.
When I remembered
the briefest of moments in which
Connection sizzled.
It made me smile.
A fluttering heart
And a fluttering tummy
Signs that I should trust my gut
On this one.
Maybe the Universe will
Conspire in my behalf.
It’s done it before.
I trust it will do it again.
So after I smile
After the brief moment of
Flutters
I surrender
To the Universe
And release all attachment
To outcome.
The universe can steer my course.
Flutters notwithstanding.
Just a knowing that what happens
Is what is supposed to happen.
How do we know?
Because it did……

Beautiful! We could avoid so much pain just by releasing attachment to outcomes. đ
So true. It’s hard, at first, to trust that it will all work out, and give up control. But then, you realize it’s way easier to just enjoy life as it comes. Thank you so much!!
It is hard indeed for the ego to let go. Always a pleasure, Deb. đ
Nice one Deb. Yup, we have learned from trying to control it or attach to the outcome so now it is time to just “let it be” and see what happens! I know it will be all good. Can’t get much harder anyway!! love you. Hugs, M. Just read your email, I’ll call you tomorrow… and yes, I do “get” it, of course.
Ok. Talk to you soon. đ
